This is a follow up to yesterday's bulletin on
bonuses.
Yesterday's bulletin did not mean that the total listing
broker's commission should be disclosed to the buyer. That is not the case, as
the buyer's representative should not even know what the total listing
commission is. (Antitrust concern) The cooperating broker who is representing
the buyer should not ask and should not know the total listing commission
amount. The statement was concerning the buyer's representative commissions and
bonuses only.
Sorry if the bulletin confused anyone on
that issue.
